Every new year, we start off the first month with a fasting plan that is meant to help us turn our hearts and minds towards God. We will be participating in this plan as a church for 15 weekdays from Jan. 8-27 in coordination with three Bible reading plans that will reveal how different aspects of the person of the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives is introduced, including His gifts and His fruit. Each plan incorporates Biblical references, reflective questions, and short prayers that will guide you throughout the period of fasting. This first week's devotionals are basic and foundational, explaining the importance and power of the Holy Spirit and providing a solid base for us to then receive the lessons in the following plans.
