Lent: Fast and Feast

Engage with God this Lenten season.

The six-week period leading up to Resurrection Sunday (Easter) is called the “Lent.” Lent starts on Ash Wednesday, which is 40 days before Easter (not counting Sundays). Journey sets aside these 40 days as an intentional time to remember the Gospel and to fast and pray to grow closer to God. This dedication can be especially helpful because Lent culminates in Passion Week, when we celebrate specifically the events of Jesus’s death and resurrection. We would be thrilled if you will join us for this special season of community fasting and praying.

For daily encouragements, follow us on Instagram @journeychurchatl. Content will include bible verses, conversation clips, sermon snippets and prayer topics. If you don't use Instagram or will be fasting social media, you can opt in for daily emails of our posts here!
